Poetic in Justice

Here is a cropped part of a painting I hope to finish one day.

I have coupled it here with some poetry I wrote.

Climb this ladder into the night

Gazing from up high

down below

turmoil under the stars

the worlds’ picture show.

Leave it for now

in the lens of escape

the fracture upon

the collective landscape.

Bask in the comfort of

peaceful black softness

resting the mind’s eye

weary from exhaustion.
